English for Life – An integrated language text Home Language Learner’s Book Gr. 11

An integrated language text book for Grade 11 learners taking English as their Home Language. The range of thought-provoking, often humorous texts with integrated activities will assist learners to understand language usage and apply communicative skills, to interpret and respond to a variety of visual materials, and to read and understand literature. Progress and language competence are assessed using methods such as rating scales, checklists and rubrics. Learners will continuously listen and speak, read and view, write and present, and at the same time will practise using English functionally, fluently and creatively by producing a range of language texts for particular purposes, audiences and contexts.
